Online Ticket Returns Policy

Introduction

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations of online tickets purchased for events at the Belmont Conservative Club (the "Club"). By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these terms. This policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

1. General Policy

All online ticket sales are generally non-refundable. The Club incurs costs associated with organising events and processing online transactions.

We will only issue refunds or exchanges in specific circumstances as detailed in this policy.

2. Refundable Circumstances

A full refund of the ticket face value may be issued in the following circumstances:

Event Cancellation: If the Belmont Conservative Club cancels an event for any reason, all ticket holders will be offered a full refund.

Event Rescheduling: If an event is rescheduled, and you are unable to attend the new date, you will be offered a full refund. You must notify us of your inability to attend the rescheduled date within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., 14 days of the new date being announced).

Significant Change to the Event: If there is a significant change to the event, such as a change of headline act, you may be eligible for a refund. The determination of what constitutes a "significant change" is at the sole discretion of the Club.

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Unless one of the refundable circumstances above applies, tickets are non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to, situations where:

You are unable to attend the event due to personal reasons, such as illness, change of plans, or transport issues.

You have simply changed your mind about attending.

Your ticket has been lost or stolen.

You are refused entry to the event due to a breach of the Club's terms and conditions of entry or for health and safety reasons.

4. How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be made in writing via email to [Insert Club's email address for ticket enquiries] within [Insert a specific timeframe, e.g., 14 days] of the event's cancellation or rescheduling.

Your request must include your name, the order confirmation number, and the reason for the refund request.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.

5. Additional Conditions

The Club reserves the right to cancel or amend an event at any time without prior notice.

In the unlikely event that a ticket is sold at an incorrect price due to a technical error, the Club reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Personal arrangements, including travel, accommodation, and other costs incurred by you in relation to an event are at your own risk. The Club shall not be liable for any such costs or expenses.

Tickets are for personal use only and may not be resold for profit. The Club reserves the right to cancel any tickets that have been resold in this manner.
